This Privacy Policy applies to the Coocat Customer application and the Coocat website, and explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the choices you have.

By using the Coocat Customer app or website, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account and verify your identity via OTP.
• Match you with suitable caterers and cooks, and forward your inquiry or booking details to the relevant service provider.
• Send you transactional notifications — booking confirmations, status updates, and OTPs — via SMS, email, and push notifications.
• Display your name and contact details to caterers when you make a booking.
• Allow you to leave reviews and ratings after a completed booking.
• Analyse website usage to improve our services (Google Analytics).
• Respond to your support requests.
• Comply with applicable laws and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as described below:

• With caterers and cooks: When you submit a booking or inquiry, your name, contact details, and event information are shared with the relevant caterer or cook to fulfil your request.
• Service providers: We use the following trusted third-party services:
  • Google Cloud Storage — secure storage for profile images.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — push notifications.
  • Google Analytics — anonymised website usage analytics.
  • Google Sign-In — optional third-party authentication.
  These providers process data only as instructed by us and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Legal obligations: We may disclose your data if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Coocat, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the successor entity under equivalent privacy protections.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting info@fusioncorex.in. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes or preventing fraud.

OTPs are temporary and automatically invalidated upon use or expiration. Device push tokens are removed when you log out or uninstall the application.

In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) and applicable Indian law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data through your account settings or by contacting us.
• Delete your account and personal data (subject to legal retention obligations).
• Withdraw consent for push notifications via your device or app settings.
• Nominate a person to exercise your rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity, as provided under the DPDPA.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data:

• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text.
• All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

• Profile images are stored securely on Google Cloud Storage.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users as required by law.

Our website uses cookies and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics collects anonymised data such as pages viewed and time spent on the site. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send push notifications about your bookings, inquiries, and important updates. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings or within the Coocat app.

Our platform is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@fusioncorex.in and we will delete such data promptly.

Our platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date above and notify you via email or in-app notice for significant changes. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
